He retired from Jackie Woods Oilfield Company.
He was preceded in death by his wife Louise G. Davis and son Rodney Davis.
Verge will forever be in the hearts of his two daughters; Geneva R. Jones (Roger ), and Rosalynn Y.Davis.
Grandchildren; April Louise Gaynelle Davis, Kelvin (Keionna) Fitzpatrick, and Kalvin Fitzpatrick.
Great Grandchildren; Ja'Coreyian Johnson, Ja'Marcus Davis Harrison, Elijah Fitzpatrick, Aniyah Fitzpatrick, and Autumn Fitzpatrick. A host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and many friends.
