In Loving Memory of Sherrera Givens

Sherrera Givens, age 44, of Longview, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, in the comfort of her home. She was born on August 2, 1982, in Longview, Texas.

Sherrera was a loving daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, aunt, family member, and friend. She attended Longview Public Schools and was known for her beautiful spirit, warm personality, and the love she shared with everyone around her.

Sherrera enjoyed dressing up, taking road trips, spending time with family and friends, and making memories with the people she loved. Above all, she treasured being a mother to her only son, Tristan Givens. Her love for Tristan was one of the greatest joys of her life.

Sherrera was preceded in death by her father, Herrera Morrison; her grandparents, Eva Morrison, Edna Givens, and Willie D. Givens; and her brother, Rodney Givens.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son, Tristan Givens; her mother, Barbara Givens; her brother, Reginald Givens; her grandfather, Carlos Morrison; her three aunts, Wanda Hudson, Vanessa (Joe) Hopkins, and Angelo (Wendell) Webb, all of Dallas, Texas; her uncle, Calvianto Morrison; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.

Sherrera's presence brought love, laughter, and unforgettable memories to the lives of those who knew her. Though she is no longer with us in person, her love will continue to live on through her son, her family, her friends, and everyone whose life she touched.

Her beautiful memory will remain in our hearts forever.

Rest peacefully, Sherrera. You are deeply loved, dearly missed, and forever remembered.
