Sandra Harris '80'

Sandra Ruth Harris was born on October 17, 1945, in Kilgore, Texas to parentage of Chandler Earl and Annie Mae Mumphrey.

Her parents preceded her in death. A former student of Dansby School, Kilgore, Texas. Sandra went on to serve others through her work at Kilgore Ceramic,

Streamline Restaurant as a cook and Private sitting. Sandra took on the role as a stay home wife. Throughout her life,

she touched countless lives with her unique personality, Sandra worked in the community

helping with Organizations and loved going to football games. She departed Monday, July 27, 2026 at Hospice of East Texas, Tyler Texas

She was a former member at Kilgore Baptist earlier in life and later join Greater Faith Ministries served until demise.

She was preceded in death by her son, Adrian Lee Bean, brothers Robert Mumphrey,

Shannon Mumphrey, Buster Mumphrey, and Willie Mumphrey, sister Addie Mumphrey Johnson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband over 30 years Melvin Dewayne Harris from Kilgore Texas.

Daughters, Casandra Fryar (Efrem), Alice Gray (Winford), Rosie Bean Mitchell, son John Bean Jr., sisters; Rosetta Hardeman Mumphrey, Shirley Mumphrey,

Diane Mumphrey, Estell Mumphrey and Tereasa William, Cressida Mumphrey,

Linda and Glenda Lott Mumphrey, brothers John Allen Mumphrey, Charles Jr. Mumphrey Jackson, Curtis Mumphrey,

Bobby Mumphrey, Garrett Mumphrey, Johnifer Mumphrey.

Grand-children, Dionicia Pereira, Shalanda Pereira,

Arnaldo Pereira Jr. Sierra Gooden (Dandre), and Braelon Mitchell, Adrianna Mitchell,

Great-Grand Children, Javarion Pereira, Arianna Pereira, Jeremiah Pereira,

Santanna Fryar, Amirah Ravin, Omere Raven, Aja Gooden, and Amillio Pereira McClendon, Jelani Zaire Gray, host of relatives and friends.

Sandra Ruth Harris legacy of faith and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
