Jimmy Ray Hall

Jimmy Ray was born to the late Myrtle Ruth Whitaker Hall and Jim Smith on January 18, 1957, in
Longview, Texas. He departed this life on February 27, 2024. He leaves to mourn his daughters Tenika
Hall, Lashundra Hall both of Longview, TX, and Shevila Carson of Dallas, TX, two brothers Frank W.
Smith of Houston, TX and Darrell L. Smith of Longview, TX, eight sisters Elaine Hall (preceded him
death). Francis (Wilbert) Davis, Paulette (Bobby) Williams, Letrease Smith, Christina Chambers, Angie
Harkey, Denise Moore, all of Longview, TX, and Nancy (Robert Johnson) of Houston, TX
Five grandchildren, Joseph Hall (preceded in death), Jeremiah Hall, Genesis Hall, Veronica Crain and
Tenisha Walls and a host of nieces and nephews.
Jimmy Ray will be missed by family, friends, and those who knew him.
