Janice Marion 'Mack' Johnson

On February 12, 1955, in Longview, TX, Janice Johnson was born to proud late parents Jonas and Barbara Mack. She attended and graduated from Longview High School in May of 1973. Soon after she attended, Kilgore College and majored in Business Administration. Janice worked in a profession she loved dearly as a healthcare professional at nursing homes, Good Shepherd Medical Center, and Longview Regional Hospital for 42 years.

Our mother never met a stranger and loved everyone she had ever met. Once she met you, you automatically became family. Her hugs, talks, kisses, and side eyes will be missed. She certainly exhibited an unmatched mother’s and grandmother’s love daily. She loved her family and friends to the fullest!

She joined in holy matrimony with William Johnson, Sr, and to this union, three beautiful daughters and one handsome son were born. At an early age, she was baptized, joined, and attended Growing Valley Baptist Church on the Northside of Longview. Janice was an apart of several auxiliaries: YWA (circle meetings), choir, and an usher.

Janice is also proceeded in death by her Father, Mother, and Brothers: Jonas Mack, Jr and Bobby Joe Mack.

She leaves to cherish her memories: One son, William E. Johnson, Jr, three daughters, Tammie Porter, Schunta Madden (Louis), and Amber Worth (Gregory), Ten grandchildren, Arriel(Keaton), DeCamian, Jalen, Camry, Keenan, Kyle, Da’Drian, Kyla, Teambrea, and Jordan; Nine great grandchildren; Three sisters: Sherrie Marlow, Teri Bell, and Pastor Dekota Mack Bisor. One brother; Victor Mack. along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
