George Edward Austell Jr.

George Edward Austell, age 64, passed away on May 15, 2025, in Longview, TX.

George was born on November 24, 1960, in Gilmer, TX, to the late Grace Ann Glezen and George Edward (Bill) Austell. He graduated from White Oak High School in 1979. George was an exceptional mechanic and gardener. He took great pride in growing roses.

 He is survived by his daughter Kimberly (Joey) Fletcher, son Chris (Brittany) Austell, brother Harold (Dawn) Austell, sister Libby McGilberry, grandchildren Hunter and Mackenzie Fletcher, Callie, Addisyn, and Bentley Austell, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

The family is planning a private memorial at a later date.
